WYC Redfish Island Raft-up
Join us for our first boating activity of 2010 on Saturday, March 20, we will be rafting up at Redfish Island for some fun in the sun. Please bring your favorite boat food and drinks so we can mix it up for some festive time on the water. We will leave the dock around noon. Some may want to stay overnight.
The Kemah Pan Jam
Saturday March 27, 2010 10 am - 10 pm! Pan Jam is authentic Caribbean steel drum, calypso music and reggae singers who have performed all over the world, at events ranging from backyard parties to Presidential receptions. The streets of the Kemah Lighthouse District come alive with the lively beat of steel drums at the annual Kemah Pan Jam Steel Drum Festival. We hope to see you at Pan Jam this year. Make plans now to enjoy the celebration and spend the weekend in Kemah where there's local accommodations a'plenty mon.

donating charters to charitable fundraisers. During the last quarter we have given charters to raise money for Justice for Children, Salvation Army Residence Center and to a program called Hug a Bear. Katherine drew the bear and held a contest where contributors could be entered into a drawing for a free charter. The International Facility Manager’s Association raised over 400 bears. The stuffed animals are given to children when the Harris County police or emergency responders respond to a tragedy. To take the children’s mind off the situation ranging from a fire to a domestic dispute or worse, they give children an animal to cuddle.
